The Depths of Imagination

Bobby filled a pail with water.

Plunging a fishing line within its depths,

he waited,

proudly proclaiming he was fishing.

Worried, friends feared for his sanity.

His mother realized his imagination encompassed infinity.

Fathoms of vibrant fantasies to capture, investigate, and explore.

    1. Nabanita, I think a person loses more and more of their imagination the older they get and the more they learn about the world we live in. It is harder to imagine all the pain, hate, and sadness away. Thank you for stopping by to read and for your sweet comments! ♥

  22. Great story! The best part of imagination is that there are no actual fish to clean :) My younger son enjoys fishing and I'm secretly thrilled when he doesn't catch anything!
